Create Copious Amounts of Content For Your Blog Quickly and Effortlessly

Advertisment

Who else is having trouble coming up with content for their blog? If you are anything like the vast majority of bloggers who are reading this right now, the simple truth is that you are probably struggling with this ONE thing more so than anything else, right? It’s true… and all you have to do is look around at the cacophony of abandoned blogs littering the highways and byways of the online landscape to realize this is a pretty pernicious problem.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking – “sure it’s easy for you to come up with tons and tons of blog content, simply because you’re super smart, really interesting and have an amazing avalanche of useless information stored in your head which is great for blog content”

And I’m not going to lie to you, you make an excellent point. I also have a killer collection of cardigan sweater vests and am a great ping pong player as well.

But the truth is, coming up with copious amounts of creative, compelling and killer content for your blog is FAR easier than most realize, and it’s almost silly to STOP posting because you’ve run out of ideas.

Post links to other resources: This is one of the best ways to jump start your blog with new content….and there is literally an endless supply of this style content that’s perfect for just about any niche there is. Simply go to popular news aggregates or authority sites for your niche, and write a nice keyword rich title, a little introductory paragraph, and LINK to other good sources that you’re readers will enjoy. This has the ADDED benefit of being a good ecological practice for creating relationships within your niche, as everybody values (and appreciates) other blogs that show them some love.

Clipped Content: This is sort of similar to #1, but you just “clip” content from blogs that are relevant to your niche, add a little bit of commentary of your own, and link back to the original source. There are lots of native (and free) tools that do this “out of the box”, and my favorite is the popular web browser, Flock. Just find good stories you like, right click and hit “blog this”, and you can literally have a properly formatted, “white hat” post on YOUR blog, with the content you “clipped”, and can be posted remotely from Flock itself to boot, (once you set up your blog to accept remote posting).

Ask a ton of questions: This is a great way to update your site with the sort of content that the search engines (and your human visitors) will really love. Any (and every) niche has a stream of consciousness and conversation, and it’s almost always “framed” in the questions that are happening, right now, in your readers mind. Take your keywords, and just start asking questions. Answer them in your blog posts, and post the actual questions as the titles. I can truly do this all day…and I’m guessing, if you’re passionate about YOUR niche, so too can you.
